MDB / SMDB / DB
A three-tier distribution chain: Main Distribution Boards (MDB) bring power in from the transformer or generator, Sub Distribution Boards (SDB) carry it onward to zones or equipment, and Distribution Boards (DB) handle the final protected circuits for lighting, HVAC, and motors.
